We're on the air!
We're excited to announce the new series of Getaways, a popular travel review TV programme. We have made several series previously with BBC Northern Ireland and this year we are producing the series as a co-production between BBC NI and RTÉ One.
In this 6 part TV series, we’ll be featuring holiday destinations that you can fly to directly from Ireland, both North and South. Each programme will feature one main foreign holiday destination and one short local break featuring an Irish destination.
Aoibhinn and Joe are providing first class travel tips on some of the best destinations that viewers can fly to directly from Ireland. The duo have done the hard work so you don’t have to, by checking out the top five must-see / must-do suggestions.
Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin and Joe Lindsay present the new six-part series, starting on RTÉ One on Thursday, January 03 at 7.00pm and on BBC NI on Monday January 07 at 7.30pm.
